MONDAY NIGHT'ER & A FANTASY HOOP 'WIRE PICK-UP!

Last night, every Packer backer was forced to watch as the Minnesota Vikings slipped past their team by a Field Goal. Minny' has won 3 straight and is making a run at the Divvy'. The Vikings continue to live off points scored by the 2ndry. Erstwhile QB Brad Johnson is a liability. While I don't think the Vikes will slip past Da' Bears and their stupid-good defense...it's not out of the realm of impossibility as the NFC North is a joke. Speaking of Chicago.... THIS Bear D is statistically better than the legendary '85 Bear D. The difference? The '05 Bears don't have the luxury of Walter Payton running the ball for 'em. QB Kyle Orton has made good decisions and hasn't lost many games... yet, he hasn't won many either. With Sexy Rexxy Grosssman ahead of schedule... it's possible Grossman supplants Orton. We shall see!

Here's yet ANOTHER Fantasy Forward who may still be available on your leagues' Waiver Wire. He was on mine, I snatched him yesterday... and he netted me 20 points (on 8/14 shooting), 9 Boards, and a pair of Steals for good measure. In his past 2 games, he's dropped 54 freakin' points, grabbed 17 Reboauds, and dished 5 Assists. Who is he? New Orleans PF David West. West has very quietly been VERY good, and he should be picked up in ALL formats. While he's not much of a shot blocker... West IS a solid scorer, and he'll garner you some Assists as well. If you need a 2nd tier starter or just pine-meat, you could do far worse than DW.

Former Hornet PG Baron Davis seems to be thriving now that he's out of New Orleans. Finally playing up to the level of his ability and staying healthy, Davis is a top 4 PG. Too bad for Hornet fans he couldn't... or wouldn't, stay healthy while in their teams' Uni'.
